Get paid to review my post, and join in on the fun.
I know you’ve seen my comments on various websites about how I felt about Payperpost, but I’ve felt like earning a few bucks, as well as getting up to 10 posts so I can add a second blog of mine. So anyway, I’ve been out of the loop lately, and just found out that people can get paid for reviewing posts of mine. I thought that was pretty amazing, considering it’s something easy and simple that doesn’t require much effort to be honest.
The new program of theirs is called “Review My Post,” which allows new members to sign up under a referral, and their first opportunity with PPP would/could be to review their referral’s posts. The new member is then paid (after their post is approved and meet requirements) for their review, and their referrer gets paid for that new member. Seems simple enough, doesn’t it? It’s a perfect blog marketing tool that will help increase traffic to websites, as well as earning money for you.

I get so bored online sometimes.
Lately I’ve been really bored when I’m online. I end up checking my RSS feeds a couple of times a day to see if the few I’ve got livemarked, have updated the hour after I first checked. There’s even been a few times when I’ve went ahead and just searched random things on wikipedia for the soul fact of being entertained (or more like being nerdy.)
So the other day I came across the Aviva Trivia Blog which updates every couple of days with random trivia posts. I’ve added the website to my RSS feed so that I know when there’s something new that was added. Unfortunately for me I can only feel like I’ve been entertained every two days–and what do you know, today is the day to expect something since the last post was on the 24th.
Even if it’ll provide a minute of entertain, I still check it since I can never come up with something I want to look up on wikipedia. Figured if I’m going to read something, someone else will do the job of finding it for me.

World Of Warcraft: +5HP
Honestly, I swear that any guy that works in Best Buy: PCHO plays WoW outside of work, and while at work, talks about WoW. Like yesterday for example: Mike and I had a customer that was asking about Medal of Honor and then we got into Xbox:Live (Halo2) and then… WoW. And that conversation lasted more then it should’ve, but I only say that because these guys talk about it all the time.
So when I came across warcraftunderground.com, I thought of them and figured I’d go ahead and write it down so I could give it to them. I’m sure they obsess over anything in regards to WoW. Personally, I’m not that into it.. (yet?) But being around all of them talking about it, I’m sure it’ll be a short time until I get redrawn into the world of … haha, warcraft. It happened at my old store, and it’s going to happen here again!
But warcraftunderground.com seems to be pretty full of information, and it’s even got a section for myspace layouts (rofl). Honestly though, the only part that turned me off was the little pop-up to join their newsletter of sorts, but hey, whatever, all I had to do was click “No, Thanks.”
Either way, I have a feeling that come payday on Friday I’ll be buying a new Nvidia card to hop back onto WoW, and probably frequenting that website. /g33k

Holdfire Network is nearing completion.
After having put the redesign for Holdfire Network on the backburner, I have brought it back alive and on the highest flame possible. I’ve got nearly all coding aspect of the design complete, and I just have some finishing touches to make on the shared/reseller pages, as well as updating the About section, and getting a promotional graphic up for the main index, since it’ll be Holdfire’s one year anniversary in 12 days :) I’m so happy that it’s lasted this long.
In other news, I’ve been working more on this site than I have in the past year (at least it feels that way.) This new theme isn’t 100% made by me, but rather a tweaked version of Kino and Hemingway Bright (credits in the footer.) I also added some more plugins to enhance the performance and overall navigation of the website, so that I didn’t have to create templates for each page and subpage; If you’re curious about what plugin does what, feel free to leave a comment about it or check out the plugins page to read through the list of what’s used here.
Tomorrow I’m also getting my hair dyed; About time too since it’s been almost an entire year since I last had my hair done. It’s really obvious too, at least to me, since the black is fading out and you can see a light brown under it. It’s not too bad, since it looks two-tone, but I have to see me every day so I’d at least like one thing to look attractive on me if I can’t have the whole package :)
Time to finish getting ready for work though, and hopefully when I get home later on tonight, I can conquer that sonofabitch wireless network, so I can be online 24/7–or not. But I’d like to access the internet in my room, on my computer, as opposed to having to use my dad’s laptop (which is nice: windows xp, 17″ widescreen, 1GB memory, 80GB hd).
Oh yeah, for those of you that were interested in trying out payperpost, if you want to refer me, that’d be fantastic. My e-mail for there is j.miskowicz at holdfire dot net.
