Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
3.5/5
I love Harry Potter, I really do. But this movie just did not to the book justice to my needs. Changing some of the characters around, and taking out necessary elements would've left me confused if I hadn't read the books. I really loved the casting for Luna Lovegood. She was so adorable.

Transformers
3.5/5
The robot fight scenes were a little to chaotic for me, but the fact that Shia was tan, sweaty, and dirty was enough to seal the deal.

Ratatouille
5/5
This movie was adorable, funny, charming, and had all the right spices. Seriously though, I'm not a foodie by any means, and this made me want to be a chef or sorts.

Evan Almighty

Seriously, what the fuck? Not funny. I wanted to see more wrath upon the Earth.

Ocean's 13
5/5
This movie felt really long, and there were a lot of side scenes to put together, but overall I think this was definitely better than Ocean's 12. Not so sure if it beats Ocean's 11. The scheming, the jokes, and of course the sexier men might be enough to surpass it...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's...
4/5
I think this may be my favorite POTC movie thus far. I really loved seeing Keira in this movie, but seemed to hate her in the other two. Depp was amazing as expected, and I secretly harbored a crush on Barbosa. Don't ask.

Spider-man 3
3/5
Maybe it was because I was slightly intoxicated, but this movie bored me to near sleep. The only bit I liked was seeing Venom's character, other than that I made way too much fun of the crying, Peter Parker's emo phase, and the horrible musical scene.

TMNT
4/5
I tried to enjoy the movie, I really did. But I grew up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the theme song, the Burger King Kid's Club VHS tapes, and everything else that had to do with "real" turtles and real people. The biggest disappointment was the fact that the movie was in CG, but with the plot, it's understandable as to why they chose that route. I just wish they would've put in the original theme song.. I wonder why they didn't. But the biggest part I hated: the fact that they wanted it to look real, but the humans looked like they were ripped from an Anime series or some Manga.

Even if I watch this movie with lights on (at night) I still get the creeps. I love how sinister the movie was played out to be, in almost the same kind of style as SE7EN. Richard Gere did a great job in this movie, but there were just a few things I couldn't get over, after having read up on mothman prior to seeing the movie.

Amazing movie based off of the graphic novel by Frank Miller. The effects, costumes, and actors were perfect. Albeit, the story wasn't obviously 100actual, but even so, still a great movie.

Van Helsing
3.5/5
This movie wasn't as good as I was hoping, though I do love Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Jackman, so it was enough to keep me watching it.

American Beauty
5/5
This was the first time I saw the movie, and it definitely surpassed my expectations. The acting by Kevin Spacey was amazing, and the ending... I never expected it. I will definitely be buying this movie when I get the chance.

The Prestige
5/5
Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and a few scenes with David Bowie are enough to leave me in contact for a few days!

Ghost Rider
5/5
I never read the comic books the movie was based off of, but already being a big Nicholas Cage fan, I was pretty excited for the movie. The only part I was slightly annoyed at was the goth girl scene where she explained what the savior looked like. It was an eye-rolling scene for me. Other then that I wish the movie was longer, and it started off pretty fast, but it was easy to catch up to. Just.. want .. more.. Nicholas Cage in leather.

Grandma's Boy
4.5/5
I wasn't sure what to expect of this movie when a friend decided to play it, but once I saw that it was a Happy Madison movie, I knew it was going to end up being hilarious... And indeed it was. The movie features many of the characters that have costarred with Sandler. This movie might grow on you after you watch it; I know I want to see it again.

While I loved the effects for this movie, there were little quirks with it that just did not allow me to enjoy the movie like I had hoped. The voices did not seem to fit most of the characters, and there were some other consistency errors that bugged me once they were mentioned. Overall it's a cute Christmas movie, but I'd rather stick to my stop-action movies instead! Long life "A Year Without A Santa Clause"!

Clerks II
5/5
If you've seen the first Clerks, you'll want to see the second one. Albeit in color, but you'll laugh probably as much as you did for the first. Though there's more sappy to this then what I'd prefer, but that's okay. I still wish they had more blowjob references though!

Superman Returns
2.5/5
I was very disappointed with this movie. I hadn't seen it when it come to theaters, so maybe not experiencing it at a 3d IMAX was part of the problem, but the movie felt over drawn and boring. Kevin Spacey is a fantastic actor, but I felt that he wasn't given the ability to expand his abilities with this movie. Kate Boswarth was stunningly beautiful, and the actor who played Superman, it was very hard to tell what was real and what appeared to be CG. The overall plot left me thinking "Why did I waste my time watching this movie." I really wish they would've gone more in-depth with it, instead of just giving you the "Let's pretend I'm a four year old, so explain it to me as easily as possible."

Happy Feet
3.5/5
The animation for this movie was amazing. The details for everything was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. The only quirks I had with the movie was that some of the musical scenes could have used more current songs, so that it would've been easier for the younger generations to get more into it. I also didn't like how the moral seemed to have gone from Mumble being an outcast, to him only gaining their respect because he brings them food back. It still didn't really step into the boundary of the whole acceptance issue. One other thing was the use of non-CG in the movie at the lasty thirty minutes of the movie, hell the last thirty minutes felt like it was rushed and spewed out politics that I'm sure that children under thirteen are not going to comprehend. All quirks aside, I thought it was cute, and funny.

When I saw that Will Ferrell was staring in this movie, I figured that it was going to be his "usual" character: boisterous, obnoxiously funny, chock full of satire, as well as over-acting. Stranger Than Fiction and Will Ferrel is what Spanglish is to Adam Sandler--A movie that's not what you expected from the lead actor. This movie was serious, with funny parts, great actors. It did get boring at one point, but rest assured it was for a few minutes. I hope to see more films from Will like this one.

Borat

Albeit this movie had quite a bit of crude humor against religion/ethnicity, but all that aside. This movie was HILARIOUS. That's really all I can say about that.

Employee Of The Month
3.5/5
I was expecting this movie to be a little more funny than it was, considering that Dex and well, Dane Cook was in this movie. There were some laugh-out-loud funny parts, but rarely was in because of a line that was funny, it was more so "physical humor." I definitely think that they picked out perfect actors for it, hell even Jessica Simpson. I'm not sure on her big ears though, that was kind of like "uh wtf?"

Jackass 2
4/5
After seeing the first when years ago, I knew what to expect. Laughing until I almost piss myself or choke to death, gagging and almost dry-heaving on the person next to me. This was definitely a lot better then the first. Some of the stunts were just plain ridiculous (Steve-O hooking himself) and others were far too funny (Wee-Man getting on the chair to read the "love letter." If you were able to handle the first one, see the second.
