I've not been to Virb for a while, it seemed to be a dying site last time I was there, covered in google ads for blogging tools and 'make money online' ads - which are never a good sign. The custom side always looked really flexible though - sounds fun!
LOL, you're joking right? There's two ads; One that displays on the backend, and a footer banner that displays on every page. Google Ads are contextual and are also "smart" and bring up ads from previously viewed pages/cookies/etc.

It's also not dying, especially considering that's it's Alexa has jumped over 100,000 in the past few months. So really, might want to look into things first, before considering it as such ;)

Thanks to everyone for their comments, I really appreciate it!

Angela - That is exactly the main reason why I decided to start this up; There are so many people that go to websites solely dedicated to myspace layouts and whatnot. I know my little sister is constantly on them looking for new layouts to use.

Malin, I got your friend request earlier and accepted it. I'm your first friend there, yay ;P

I did read the legal terms & blah blah blah blah blah. It is easy money, for the simple fact that you aren't doing a damn thing but displaying a link on your site. Its free, and you have a chance of making money. And I'm not going to sit here & type out the whole T.O.A., I would assume they would read them on thier own if they decide to click the link. :D

I think Virb has so much potential but the basic knowledge it takes to customize a profile might be too overwhelming for Myspacers, as evident by the millions of browser-crashing profiles. It'll make a site like stylevirb that much more important.
