About

Oh boy, where do I start? Alright, I’ll start off with the basics: I’m currently twenty-two years old, a freelance webdesigner, and sole proprietor of Holdfire. I’ve lived in a few other cities: Clarksville, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; and Houston, Texas but I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, and is currently where I reside again.

Over the years I moved around a lot I got the chance to experience other cultures, people, accents, and have the chance to be on my own. Sure I was eating Ramen Noodles every day, and unbelievably obsessed with playing Battlefront on the PS2 but I sure as hell loved every moment of it. My decision to move back home was purely based on the fact that my stint of being on my own was coming to an end and I needed to get back on my feet again, and perhaps go back to school.

I went through a semester or two at the community college for my district, but school just isn’t for me. I already have plenty of experience as a webdesigner sans school, and have held a few jobs and clients without a degree, so I didn’t hesitate to postpone school again.

Right now I’m a freelance designer, just taking on clients here and there, or going to contract gigs through agencies. I admit that sometimes it does get wearisome having to find work and hope I can get income coming in, but I love webdesign. Probably the one reason why I refuse to work full time unless it’s a webdesign job. Coupled with being a freelancer, I’ve been running my own webhosting company for almost three years now, and it’s definitely been a huge success. It’s successfully climbed both in popularity and financially since it started, and hopefully it keeps on climbing!

Other than that the rest of my life consists of taking it one day at a time. I am obsessed with Halo 3. It’s been a focal point of my entertainment since it was released in September of 2007 and I don’t see it ending anytime soon. I’m so avid about it that I’m apart of a clan, Outcast Reborn, which is almost essentially a second home for me. Love all the guys in there, and always have a blast playing Halo with them. A lot of my startup ideas recently have involved Halo in some form or another (like MLG.) When I’m not playing video games, sometimes I’ll be stuck on Surfthechannel.com watching seasons of Battlestar Gallactica, X-Files (which I actually finished watching 1-9 of!), The Office, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, and a plethora of other tv shows and movies.
