iTunes XHTML Playlist

Posted on October 25th, 2006

For those of you that have been looking for this script, I actually have a copy of the OSX and PC version that I am going to be putting up for download.

It generates a XHTML compliant playlist of the songs you have on your iTunes which you can then upload to your website to show off. If you want to see an exmaple of the iTunes XHTML Playlist, click that.

iTunes XHTML Playlist (OSX) / iTunes XHTML Playlist (PC)

How do I use this script?

Instead of giving you some boring list of instructions with some equally boring screenshots, I figured a nice little screencast will do the trick for you guys. Just watch the video, and see how I create the .html file from the EXE. Mind you, it’s really as simple as it looks. :)

Lee, I’m put up an explanation in a few, and e-mail you as well if you left an address.

Thank you so much! I’ve been searching all day and this is the best I have found. I even tried using WinAmp, but that turned out really bad looking (plus it wasn’t that customizeable). Thank God I didn’t have to type out 4595 song titles.

Can you please upload the converter again? I’ve been trying to look for it for quite some time now since I lost mine after my PC got re-formatted. :\ Thanks! :)

Yes- I’d like to second Al’s request for this file, for Mac OSX. I can’t find it anywhere!

Thank you so much for posting the script again!

Oddly, though- it won’t work on my Mac. (10.3, Intel) I get this error message every time:

    Runtime Failure: Failed Assertion.
    plugin.cpp:5492 plugins

Great for my Mac! It is 2 years old - but it still works. Thanks.
